A Heart that Breaks Open Intention

Hoy escribo en español porque el español tiene mucho que ver con mi corazón. La tristeza llego como un maremoto hoy. Me dejo con mucho náusea y incapaz de concentrarme. Cuando eres joven y te enamoras y cuando te conviertes en ser madre, no tienes ni idea del inevitable desamor y dolor que te espera. Este es tu recordatorio de que si tu corazón sufre por algo en este mundo, significa que has amado tan profundamente que te has roto el corazón. Tal vez cuando el corazón se rompe se está abriendo. El dolor es AMOR.

Grief overcame me like a tidal wave today. Leaving me nauseous and incapable of concentrating. When you’re young and you fall in love or become a mother, you really have no idea of the inevitable heartbreak you have signed up for. This is your reminder that if you’re heart is aching for anything in this world, in means you have loved so deeply and so profoundly that you broke your heart open. Grief is LOVE.
